Hello,

I am an illustrator currently living in Amsterdam, the Netherlands... thanks for visiting!

My illustrations inhabit a world of their own, and they are recognizable for their self-deprecating sense of humor and a love for 80’s aesthetics. I will also try to put a smooth gradient in every illustration I make. I draw on the computer as well as by hand, often mixing the two techniques (if time allows me), and in my personal projects I take the liberty to experiment with all kinds of media: video, photography, animation, installations, textile, and found objects.

My commissioned work has appeared in newspapers and magazines, as well as on murals and album covers. I draw inspiration from vintage sci-fi paperbacks, Jim Henson, underground comics, vintage erotica, sports, and nature. My love for film shines through everything I make; I just love to tell a story :)

I hold a BA in Illustration from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, where I also attended fashion and photography classes. As a longtime member of the Kamp Horst collective, I create large-scale murals filled with subversive pop culture references.

When I’m not in my studio, I’m probably walking my dog, Mambo, playing with clay, treasure hunting in a thrift store, or watching some terrible eighties movie.

At the moment, I teach riso, pattern design and screen printing workshops at MK24 in Amsterdam.
